WHAT IS A CERAMIC COATING?
Ceramic coatings are extremely durable and a great alternative to traditional car wax or polish. Depending on the type of ceramic coating used they are suitable for use on paintwork, wheels, metal, glass, and plastic trim. The chemical composition of SUPERMAXX is Polysilazane, and our SILICON 30 14si is formulated with Silicon Dioxide (SiO2). Ceramic coatings may also be referred to as Nano, Quartz, or Glass Coatings.

WHY SUPERMAXX ?
SUPERMAXX Polysilazane Ceramic Coatings are the most advanced ceramic car coatings available on the market and can be applied by professional detail shops or DIY consumers. SUPERMAXX is a single-component liquid clear coat that’s applied by either Wipe On/Polish Off, or Spray On/Polish Off. SUPERMAXX is simple and easy to use with no streaks or cloudy areas. SUPERMAXX ceramic coatings are applied in sections at a time on all exterior or interior surfaces. Once the paintwork and all surfaces are cleaned, decontaminated, clay bar or polished if necessary, and isopropyl alcohol wiped prepared then the application can begin to ensure the coating achieves a good clean surface to bond to.
HOW DO I MAINTAIN SUPERMAXX ?
We recommend a careful and regular washing regime using the two-wash bucket method to prevent abrasives or sand from damaging the ceramic surfaces. Use a PH-neutral shampoo and our super-hydrophobic SILICON 30 14si ceramic spray to keep your vehicles looking pristine and like new. Also, avoid letting your vehicle air dry when washing, always use quality microfiber towels to dry.
SUPERMAXX High Strength Ceramic Coating should be applied every 4-5 years depending on driving conditions. We recommend using quality car soap to wash vehicles, or use a quality soft touch/touchless car wash. For 2-3-year protection, we recommend our SUPERMAXX Ceramic Coating Spray. For monthly routine maintenance, we recommend using our SUPERMAXX SILICON 30 14si with Sio2.
Apply SUPERMAXX SILICON 30 14si Ceramic Spray every 1- 3 months to maintain the ceramic coatings and hydrate/rejuvenate the surfaces to enhance their hydrophobic properties.
ARE THERE DIFFERENT TYPES OF CERAMIC COATINGS?
There are many ceramic coating products available on the market. The main difference is the type of active ingredients in the products. Some have levels as low as 5% sio2 as typically found in most online or auto parts store maintenance ceramic detail sprays. Other professional-grade ceramic coatings have as much as 70% SiO2.

ARE CERAMIC COATINGS A MIRACLE PRODUCT?
Most Professional-Grade Ceramic Coatings, despite being very durable, still need routine maintenance, so NO it is not a miracle product.
Beware of the hype that comes with many auto parts stores, online or box store ceramic coating sprays, waxes, polishes, paint sealants, car treatment paint sealant products, or (ceramic and dealership-applied treatments) that promise ‘no polishing’ and ‘lifetime protection.
Most detail shops or dealerships claim no maintenance as part of the deal. They typically spell out in the warranty that the coatings need to be reapplied every year or less at an additional cost to maintain protection.
HOW does SUPERMAXX compare to car wax?
Car Waxes, Polishes, and many typical Paint Sealants just sit on the surface and will wash off in a short period of time. SUPERMAXX Nano Ceramic coatings work by bonding a thin nanolayer of clear coat directly to your car’s paintwork, creating a new highly durable ceramic layer. Once bonded the product is much harder to remove than traditional car wax products and is, therefore, more durable, and permanent.
CURING TIME?
SUPERMAXX Nano Ceramic Coatings require 24 hours of cure time before being exposed to rain. Your car will need to be garaged overnight unless the weather forecast calls for no rain.
